JNU ‘sedition’ row: Kanhaiya on indefinite hunger strike against fine | india | Hindustan Times

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Students’ Union president Kanhaiya Kumar along with a group of students who have been punished by the university administration for allegedly taking part in a controversial February event, are on an indefinite hunger strike to demand revocation of punitive action.

The strike began on Wednesday night and the group of students includes Umar Khalid, Anirban Bhattacharya, JNU  Students’ Union general secretary Rama Naga.
